A networked multiplayer clone of bomberman, created with Unity and within three weeks.Papa Kanaka was an exercise with a single task. To learn Unity's networking features, I also kinda used this project as a test bed for a Bomberman clone, however the Bomberman features weren't focused on at all except the bombs and players. After a few days into the project I had already created a single player bomberman including bomb placing and fire collision. I also had the bomb not being solid on placement for the player that placed it and then solid when they step off. The rest of the time was me learning UNET and all I can say was what a pain. I got it working within my time limit, but the Unity documentation is a little hard to get your head around. I have provided a download of the game. I was hoping to add music, sound, UI and some more features but I had ran out of time. The controls are arrow/WASD keys to move and space bar to place a bomb, if you pick up the kick bomb powerup, you can kick bombs away from you by walking into them.The game can take a total of 8 players, the map will be small for 1-4 players and large for 5-8 players.IMPORTANT NOTE: Play the game in 1024 by 768, I did not have time to fix camera issues etc, also only the host can start the game and continue the game.I make no money whatsoever from this game so all copyrighted images can be removed from the game by request.
